Paper acception by Science Advances
The scientific paper “ DSCAM Regulates Delamination of Neurons in the Developing Midbrain” was published in Science Advances. This manuscript highlights the involvement of DSCAM in the earliest molecular machinery of neuronal departure from the ventricular surface. Many thanks to all contributing authors for their intense cooperation.

Oral talk at The 64th Annual Meeting of the Japanease Society for Neurochemistry
"Synaptic reorganization by astrocytes and brain function” Symposium (S9) took place during the The 64th Annual Meeting of the Japanease Society for Neurochemistry online and I presented our recent studies.
I would like to thank the organizer, Dr. Koizumi, for inviting me to such a great symposium.

Oral talk at Neuroscience 2021
"Neurological diseases and cancer resulting from developmental deficiency in the cerebellum” Symposium (2S06a) took place during the Neuroscience 2021 online and I presented our recent studies.
I would like to thank the organizers, Dr. Kawauchi and Dr. Uesaka, for inviting me to such a wonderful symposium.

Organizer and oral talk at MBSJ2020
The “Progenitors and Evolution” Workshop (3AW-05) took place during the MBSJ2020 online and was co-organized by Dr. Takeshi Kawauchi from the Foundation for Biomedical Research and Innovation at Kobe.
We are very thankful to all the staff of the Molecular Biology Society of Japan who worked hard to organize the zoom conference under the continuing global pandemic. I’d like to express my appreciation for our invited speakers/dear friends: Dr. Takashi Namba (University of Helsinki), Dr. Tadashi Nomura (Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine) Dr. Ikumi Fujita (RIKEN), Dr, Hideyuki Nakashima (Kyushu University), Dr, Hideyuki Nakashima (Kyushu University). It was an impressive workshop.
Symposium organizer at JSN 2020
“The Synchronicity of Neuronal Development and Functional Acquisition” Symposium took place during the 63rd Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Neurochemistry. We greatly appreciate all the staff of the Japanese Society for Neurochemistry who worked diligently to set up the zoom conference under the continuing global pandemic. I’d like to express my gratitude to our invited speakers/dear friends: Dr. Mayumi Tamada (Kyoto University), Dr. Chiaki Maruyama (Tokyo Metropolitan Institute) Dr. Takayoshi Inoue (National Center of Neurology and Phychiatory). It was very successful and informative experience.

Paper acception by Genes to Cells
The scientific paper "Comprehensive and cell type-based characterization of the dorsal midbrain during development" was published in Genes to Cells. Our results form a foundation for analyses of brain development, especially in the proliferation and migration of excitatory and inhibitory neurons in the dorsal midbrain.
